![]() Dragon Age Inquisitionĭragon Age Inquisition was a terrific return to form for the franchise. It’s an ending that certainly made Conquest and Birthright feel like the “bad” ones. Revelation’s ending sees Anaonkos defeated and peace restored to the kingdom. What’s more, they could actually go and take on the King of Valla, the Dragon Anankos, who is essentially the ultimate evil of the game. ![]() Revelations was a paid DLC pack in which players could unite both bands of characters from Conquest and Birthright. And while both do feature conclusions to their storylines, there was a third version of the game available to players that seemed to offer a more complete experience. There were two different versions of Fire Emblem Fates at launch, Conquest and Birthright, each offering their own substantial story campaigns. I feel like people can't accept that as an ending because unconditional loss just isn't something you see in video games.It’s one thing to provide players with new story content to expand the overall narrative, but it’s quite another to withhold a game’s true ending behind a DLC paywall. All of the characters, including those that escaped to Earth, are dead. ![]() ![]() The conclusion to the series is that humans (and all life on Earth) go exstinct, and nobody can do anything to stop it. The only communication they got from the surface was basically just creepy necromorph noises. I mean, you see that when they return to earth a brethren moon is basically eating the planet, and the ship that Isaac and Carver are on crashes into another one. The way I saw it, Isaac failed, and the brethren moons ate humanity. I'm 2 years late to this one, but when Awakening released, everyone seemed to think it ended on a cliffhanger. ![]()
